## How we research and write our guides

Primary sources, linked and dated. Fill The Lobby publishes guides for private-practice owners and a reference page for each state. This page explains who writes them, how we use AI, how facts are checked, what the dates mean and how to report a mistake.

## Who writes them

Fill The Lobby is a remote US healthcare marketing agency run by its [three co-founders](https://fillthelobby.com/about). Each guide carries the name of the founder responsible for its topic: Fatima Azfar for AI, SEO, websites, privacy and technology, including call-handling and follow-up tools; Ghazanfar Idrees for growth, ads, reviews, retention and practice operations. The [state pages](https://fillthelobby.com/states) are published under Fill The Lobby’s name.

## How we use AI

We research and draft with the help of an AI assistant. It reads the primary sources, such as laws, licensing-board rules, platform policies and government guidance, and helps write the draft. A separate fact-checking pass then re-reads each third-party claim against the source it cites, and anything it can’t confirm is corrected or cut. A person on our team then reads each guide before it goes live.

## Sources and checks

- Every fact about someone else, such as a law, a board rule, a platform policy, a fee or a price, links to its source, the primary one where it exists, with the date we checked it.
- Search volumes and click costs come from Ahrefs and are dated. They are estimates, not counts.
- No invented statistics, no made-up examples presented as real, and no patient stories.
- Older guides are brought up to this standard when they are next updated.

## What our pages are not

The read each guide gets before it goes live is an editorial one, not an expert review. Our guides and state pages are not reviewed by a clinician or a lawyer. They explain marketing, advertising and privacy rules as they apply to a practice’s marketing; they are not legal, medical or billing advice. Before you rely on a rule, read the linked source, and check with your licensing board or a lawyer when the stakes are high.

## What the dates mean

“Updated” is the date of the last substantive change: a new or corrected fact, a new section or a changed recommendation. Fixing a typo or a broken link doesn’t change it. The date in the page’s structured data and in our sitemap matches it. Tables and source lists carry their own “checked” dates, which can differ from the page date. On the state pages, licensure compact status is re-checked monthly and state privacy laws quarterly.

## No paid mentions

Nobody pays to be mentioned or linked in our guides, and we don’t trade links. When a guide names a product or platform, it’s because practices use it. How we handle a practice’s own advertising is on our [compliance page](https://fillthelobby.com/compliance).

## Corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, email [sales@fillthelobby.com](mailto:sales@fillthelobby.com) with the page and what’s wrong, and a source if you have one. We check it against the source, fix it if it’s wrong and update the date.
